We were delighted to have the opportunity to welcome our Constituency MP, Layla Moran to our office in Abingdon. We talked with her about our NHS Contract providing services and equipment to NHS clients across the Wessex & Thames Valley regions and to show her the range of equipment we can provide.
Layla had a very powerful conversation with our friend, Sophie who told her about her life and her aspirations as well as the difference that Ace Centre has made by supporting her to use the right technology. We were really pleased to be joined also by Hector Minto who champions accessibility on behalf of Microsoft and is a fellow constituent. Other guests included Dr Paul Whittington from Bournemouth University and Robert McLaren from Policy Connect, who together were able to share details of APPGAT and the ATech Policy Lab. Finally, Layla – a former Science Teacher – enjoyed an overview of our Engineering services to learn about the bespoke solutions we can create in our workshop facilities.
“I have been trying to get Layla to our Abingdon office for some time to showcase the work of Ace Centre in her constituency but recent events have prevented her from coming until now. She did not disappoint! Layla was really engaged, inspired and committed to offering her support to address the issues that were identified. Thank you, Layla! I will definitely be in touch!” – Anna Reeves, CEO Ace Centre
